The impulse for a lot of people after getting out of a five year relationship would be to have a few meaningless flings. But you really crossed a rubicon when you called his other chat mate “ugly”. It's just a sign of gross insecurity and meanness that probably changed the way he views you. Unfortunately the reality of the situation is that he has the legal right to visitation. There are no amount of text messages that are going to get around this. If he wants to be part of their lives he can be and there is relatively nothing that can be done about this. If rapists have the right to see their children then so do dead beat dads.
