Scholarships to study medicine is so competitve in the country I live in because it's so expensive compared with other fields of study. I know there are many many students that have a 4.0 GPA that's accepted but only 5-10 that are on scholarship (more if you include sponsorships but then the student is bonded to work so many years for the sponsor).
Also, I'd like to ask if every student that gets accepted into uni/college in the US is 'talented' enough to get a scholarship. If so, why are there so many posters on reddit complaining about student debt?
Yeah, I think talking to a therapist would be best for OP before deciding whether or not to tell her current bf. At the very least it can help her process her feelings more and feel more in control of this decision, instead of the fear and panic that’s driving her right now. And sending a cease and desist letter sounds very smart.
