2. “edgy jokes” is he 10? The joke wasnt funny, neither was his liberal retort. You cant keep making excuses for him lol hes an ass. Your friends arent the ones who need to understand anything, you're the one dating a fresh out of highschool teen with a shit sense of humor. The fact that she was nice about him misgendering her and he immediately decided to make a transphobic joke then bring politics into is isnt funny, I dont understand why you're making excuses for him. 4. I’m not sure how much he watches while he’s on the road but he does have quite a bit pulled up on his phone browsers. He also doesn’t believe in therapy. Says he can’t handle being told he’s a lost cause.

5. I dont think there's anything wrong with you saying you won't have sex with him if you don't want to, I just think it's similar to what the bf did in the other post. He also didn't want to have sex with his gf, and they were younger, he took it a step further and broke up with her.

7. No you shouldn't have, you missed what I was communicating. It's just petty and stupid. If you want to be friends with him, then be friends with him. If you don't, then don't. You're not part of a hivemind but if you want input to give to the hivemind then tell them that this is a juvenile problem, that Ethan shouldn't have done that but exiling a person you are genuinely friends with for a slight moral impurity is stupid and will come back to bite you in the ass if you ever make a mistake, but if he's not really your friend like Jess is and you just care about supporting her then sure, cut him off, because he's not your friend anyway.
