As an older person I’m gonna say, “You wouldn’t resent her now” and probably not in the near future. But 5yrs? 10yrs? What you don’t like about NYC will sink into you and fester. That will mix with a longing for all the things about your hometown that you miss – Every. Single. Day. There will be a storm of frustration & anger about everything you want and feel you’re missing. You’ll dread waking up and having to relive the same NYC day over-and-over again. It's bizarre how men, who've likely hit on women regularly, never seem to understand that women are so used to getting hit on that we know how to handle ourselves. But this guy doesn't trust you and it's actually a good thing that you're finding this out early in the relationship.
