I didn’t say I know if she has cheated. I just don’t have evidence. I’m not going to assume she did. I always assume anybody can be lying at anytime but you have to give people the benefit of doubt. So the problem is I’m not able to do that now. I have to second guess everything. The issue with me is I have basically lost attraction to her now that I’ve seen this side of her. So I’m struggling with whether I even want to try and move forward.

I get that he’s insecure but that’s something he needs to work on/get over or it’s going to hurt every one of his relationships including this one.
It’s understandable to be insecure about it, but it probably really is for the kids. Especially if he contributes anything financially to them right now, which would be gone if he passed. He probably just doesn’t want to leave his kids destitute and giving it to his ex if something should happen to him is more reasonable since they’d likely need the money before they turn a certain age should that extra financial support vanish.
Oh good god do not “test” your partner. It’s absolute bullshit and manipulative. If you reach the point of paying a stranger to tempt them, do you actually see a way of coming back from that? Truly? Because I don’t see that ending well at all no matter what the person tells you.

If she's being this disrespectful and stupid , this is not a relationship you want to be in. My advice would be to break up, and if you break up with her before the cruise she won't be the forbidden fruit he can't have, he'd probably lose interest. It sucks but that's probably what's happening. He told you to your face what he wanted to do, if she's available, it's not enticing. Do yourself a favor and jet now, it'll save you trouble in the long run.
