You're absolutely wasting her time. It's a lot harder for people to meet someone and get married the older they get. If they want kids, it's even harder to do that.
The math looks like this: If OP's girlfriend wants to have kids in her early 30s, they need to break up now so she has 2-3 years to find someone new, 2-3 years to date them and get engaged, then another 1-2 years to plan a wedding, and 1-2 years to be married before getting pregnant and having kids. Even if you crunch that timespan that's 6 years. That means if OP breaks up with her NOW, the soonest she might REALISTICALLY have kids unless she gets incredibly lucky and moves quickly is 31/32.

In a sense, yes, she's controlling. But I think this is due to the fact that we both have set up boundaries for each other and rules. As for being upfront, I am aware that I was wrong and I'm conscious about that. Not being clear from the start was bad from me, but it was because I knew she wouldn't react well to it, and I didn't think of it as a big deal at the time.

Find a lawyer experienced in men’s custody rights. You need a pit bull to go after her.
Discuss with said lawyer hiring a PI (private investigator) to look into her background. The court will not look favorably on the mother with that long of an absence. Also, a PI would be able to find out for you, the following – where is she living now? How is she surviving – is she working?
Document, document, document! Right up the history of their relationship, her abandonment of the two of them, her recent contact, etc. All interactions should be written up and placed into a file. Don’t provide any emotion in you response; just straight and to the fact.

I'll tell you a story of a woman I dated. Very kind, very sweet, the type of person anyone could talk to. She was also quite beautiful. So to the surprise of no one, she was getting approached all the time, and she was the sort that always seem to entertain the attention politely, never made the guy feel bad but then would casually introduce me as her boyfriend which would neutralize things.
I was totally fine with it. Some red flags I missed was that she didn't seem to have too many female friends (all guy friends) and the few female friends she did have rotated through guys it seemed liked weekly.
At anyrate, I would casually find out through her or her friends that they had gone out with other guys, which I would ask her about and her response was that I knew her and that she would never cheat. That these guys were like brothers to her.
