I’m all about personal accountability and I can admit that sometimes I have my toxic tendencies and I’m a bit over protective of myself due to previous about and trauma , have complex ptsd from my childhood as well. But these were things they were aware of when they started being with me and even agreed to move 4000 miles away from home and start a life with me .
I was 15 (freshman) dating an 18 (senior) Now that I’m grown I’m disgusted in the adults in my life and promise to do my daughter better. Maybe he was just a late starter and they met in school.. much better than if he was in college and met her out and about. Still so sad either way.

best course of action if she is not willing to leave then make her home life hell so she wants to leave. You could bring a girl over, or friends that she may dislike, do things that annoy her. Just make her uncomfortable that way she will be willing to leave on her own accord.
