  1. Honestly, you're only 4 dates in. If he's gotten so comfortable saying something that mean 4 dates in, it's not going to be long before he gets meaner. You're at a stage where you need to be vetting the people you're dating, NOT giving them second chances to make up. That happens when they've built up your trust lol. 4 dates in and he has the audacity to insult you? Girl you can do so much better, and I hope you don't settle for this.

  2. You literally don’t know me but yet you’re deciding you know if I’m mature enough for a relationship? Lol. Idgaf how many people judge us. I’m happy with him and he’s happy with me.

And yeah I may be semi disabled, poor, and not accomplished, but it doesn’t mean I’m not worthy of giving love and being loved. I will say I need to work on not feeling intimidated by successful people, but that doesn’t mean anything is wrong with us being together.

  3. You should make this your hill to die on, as division of labour in a household is a dealbreaker. Time to negotiate, possible solutions could be:

He can make his own lunches; you will make dinner but once a week he is responsible for takeout or taking you out. (TBH, I'm a petty bitch and I'd be protesting his refusal to eat leftovers by packing up last night's dinner into today's lunch box).

You will menu plan; he will manage the pantry and do the grocery procurement.

    You cook; he cleans up.

If there is any significant pushback from him not shouldering his fair share of household responsibilities, then send him back home to his mommy.

  4. You can’t be dating someone you haven’t seen before. This is so unsafe and sketchy. He could be someone else entirely and that’s why you’ve never seen him. This is how romance scams begin. Yikes.

  5. This sounds like a good place to start. I'm not normally one for ultimatums, but this would be one situation I would absolutely give one – it's me or the clown!

  6. Yep we had to confess our sins behind the alter every Sunday. Priests making us ask for forgiveness for existing. I'm not going to say my parents were as strict as mormons, but wasn't allowed to be alone with girls until I entered college.
