Our relationship was toxic…I was emotionally manipulative… I'd tell him I'd kill myself if he left me … he cheated to get out of the toxic relationship with me. He did this twice
No, CoolCookie, you're done. It doesn't work and unless you both change, it's not going to.
Because she didn’t just see me want to play and be like “oh you know what that’s a good idea, I also feel like it”.
She came to the machine I was at (there were a few), while I was trying to figure out if I can pay by card and was asking her and my boyfriend if they have money, she said she has money, inserted it in the slot machine I was at, then we took turns playing together.
Like, I really can’t see how this scenario can be simplified into “she wanted to play so it’s hers”.
I don't trust her either, and was hesitant to comment that because of, well, I'm sure you can gather why. She knows the dad doesn't like her, doesn't want them together, and that their father/son relationship has been strengthening lately. They went from a very tumultuous dynamic to now working on having a healthy dynamic as parent and kid. This is why I think she might take drastic actions, such as this, to put the seed of doubt into OP's head regarding how he moves forward with his father. She doesn't want them repairing their relationship, because she's thinking of how it will effect her instead of what is actually best for OP, which is obviously a healthy and happy father/son situation.
I mean you definitely know this isn’t sustainable so what other decision do you have but to move forward. You set a clear boundary and she violated it. If you don’t follow through with that boundary, she will never respect you or any boundary you set ever again. It’s time to bounce and I’m sorry.
I used to have to drive an hour each way to see my ex. He didn’t make that much money, but I was pure BROKE, so he always paid for my gas. At one point he bought me an ez pass so I could take the toll roads.
If he isn’t even willing to do that much, he’s not worth your time. Right now it’s this issue, but in the future it’ll always be something. And his “what do you want me to do about it” just ugggghhh makes my skin crawl.
Oh girl he's lying to you.
Why would she stop something that she likes?
