The issue is though these numbers are missing context, which is discussed extensively both in the studies and on the wiki page. The studies conducted have a number of limitations ranging from old data to including incidents where a paternity dispute was known and ongoing. For example, your partner tells you they cheated and a divorce is ongoing. I’ll take a look at the 2016 study that’s mentioned but I’ll need to dig it up because I’m not paying the telegraph for secondary information. Either way, I think we can agree these are incredibly small numbers.

No one here can define what cheating is to YOU. For some people they consider cheating any sexual contact. For some they might see something as simple as viewing porn as cheating. So you have that entire range of things to choose from on what you want to define as cheating.
Personally if my partner had been sexting and even made plans to go hook up, that's cheating. It's up to you whether or not you agree.
