What does your gut say–is your BF honest and trustworthy? If you generally trust him, I would suggest having a conversation with him about him and his ex. At least hear him out and let him know you are uncomfortable with him having such a close relationship with his ex.
If your gut says you do not trust him, ask yourself why. If he has questionable ethics, then it might not be worth keeping up a relationship crossing national boundaries.
My mother always asks me “what are you doing on X day?” Or “what are your plans for this weekend?” I KNOW she’s not asking because she’s interested in my plans, she’s waiting to see if I say “nothing” and then she will ask me to come help her with something. I mean I ask because these thoughts kind of plagued me as a late teen but eventually I realized that your not going to be the best at everything. Some guys will be better lovers but bad partners in other areas. This happens you have to look at it from an “All things considered”. This is a you problem. You need to get some help or get going in life. At 30M I was knee deep in a career and couldn't care less about my girls exes. Whatever you do don't keep badgering her about details etc that won't end well. Don't try to “beat” them etc just be a good boyfriend.
