3. You’re a better person than I am.

   I don’t believe in sacrificing yourself, your hopes and dreams for a commitment you made when you were a different person. Also a commitment that you probably didn’t really understand at the time.

   People hang their hat on that “in sickness and in health line”, but people live a lot longer than 40 years now. It meant something different a long long time ago. It definitely didn’t mean 50 years of chronic illness.

   If you can imagine yourself at 70 with no money and no kids and you have no regrets about this or the life you’ve had then you should stay.

   I’ll get hate for this post I know, but life is too short and you only get one shot.
