Because you know it’s not true there’s the risk of unintentionally invalidating her feelings which could have the opposite effect to what you’re trying to achieve. Make sure you’re working on your romantic life. Let your wife know how important she is to you, you may want to suggest couples counselling so you can strengthen your relationship so she has no doubt, show her that she matters and you’re there to reassure her.
