My thoughts – girls with kids are rough. No disrespect to my single mom friends, but once you meet the kids, the breakup becomes 2x+ harder. Because once you meet the kids they might vibe with you and then you’re not just breaking up with mom… you’re breaking up with her and the kids.
Usually as a rule, I won’t date girls with kids as a result (the above mentioned reason plus I’ll want to have kids with someone and if she’s already done it she’s less likely to do it with me).
If going out with a girl with kids, I normally set a hard ‘no contact with the kids’ rule during the dating phase, which if we enter long-term relationship phase I’ll remove.
But if they ever try to start shit in front of the kids at that point, I’m out. Kids deserve the best we can give them. And if anyone injects unnecessary negativity into their lives, I’m done.
