INFO: what are these trips with his friends? Is he going across the country with them or is he going camping or road trips? Because the latter two options are very different from flying at least half a day in a tight an expensive flight to an expensive island at a resort.
And im gonna be honest, if you dont want to pay for the trip yourself then hes allowed to refuse to fund them. Maybe this is too “liberal” of me but i think its 2023 and shit’s expensive so if you’re not willing to pay for some of the travel expenses then you’re going to have to settle, compromise on more affordable or closer locales/events, or break up and look for someone that’s not afraid of being a bit a piggy bank for you.
I love to travel and i love travelling with my partner, but we dont collectively make a ton of money so one of us will pay for one aspect of the trip and the other pays for other aspects (ex: my gf will pay for lodging and event stuff, i pay for things like gas, food, drinks, etc.). We figured we’re both paying for the same trip and the same experiences, so we both put out for it.

She has to have a reality check!!!! It is okay to have things you love and you are passionate about but it is another thing to think that you are above everyone else and try to minimize them. She is a narcissist that discusses herself as an “artist”. That doesn't make you look like a cultural, wise person it just makes you look like a snob. It is not that she has high standards it is that she thinks that she is above everyone else!!! While sexually she has things to solve, also she has to have consideration to other people if she wants to be respected. Don't stay in a toxic relationship/situationship like that!!! Find someone that is more grounded and humble!!!
Do it in a public place (like a restaurant or coffee place) and make sure you have friends at another table. Leave the place with them when it’s done. I understand that you feel like you get overwhelmed but it’s just him gaslighting you. He knows what he’s doing. Dump him ASAP!
