  1. I think you might of hurt your husband by asking him if he put your neighbor's wife up to this joke. I honestly would have felt flabbergasted by my SO asking me if I was behind it.

Yea ; I think a couple of different talks need to happen. A: Your husband needs to understand you went to him for support, you did nothing to flirt with them . He shouldn't blame you. You both need to understand your neighbor's might be poly/swingers that handled it poorly!

B: a talk with your neighbor (the wife). Either through text or a semi public place. I would message her to let her know that you felt it was inappropriate for her to ask you that. If it works for their relationship that's great but to just outright assume you would have sex with her husband isn't cool.

  2. Wtf if I had a sister that behaved like that, she'd be toast, sister/best friends of any worth don't pull the sort of shit she did

  3. This is ridiculous. Not only does she want you as a backup, she actually wants you to meet this guy? She's using you OP. She cheated on you, wants to continue cheating on you until she decides he's not going to go back to his wife and it's ok to leave you. You say number one will fuck up your life, I'd say it's going to be either way. Number two, like I said she's using you and you're just a doormat waiting around for her decision in case the other guy wants to go back to his wife or it doesn't work out with him. Number three as you said isn't going to work. If you ask her to stay I would say she has to get a different job and not see Him anymore and you and her get marriage counseling if she really wants to make your marriage work but honestly it sounds like she doesn't.

  4. There's gotta be a million other ways to say it though. I'm not saying lie, but to compare her to his mom, say he doesn't see her as a wife or lover, and use the term “grossed out”? Come on.

  5. I had my hair dyed blonde for over 20 years then I got sick of it. I had it dyed purple. I g he ad mentioned to my husband that I was thinking of it and his response was “whatever you want love”. When I did it and came home he just looked at me and said “oh you did it then. Suits you”. I was 55 then, 8 years ago. Just got it topped up again. He said “yeah keep it purple. I’m used to it now “. After 8 years? I’d say so! Lol

  6. Sorry you went through that. Men are victims of abuse too. They just speak up less because of the stigma. It should be taken just as seriously. I hope you have healed.

  7. Whether you like it or not, your actions thus far have shown him that it’s okay to do this. Which it isn’t.

  8. If you guys are friends (or associates) I don’t see an issue but it’ll be weird if you just randomly message him if you aren’t

  9. Yes you can. And if you can’t, there are resources to help you do so. But you are giving people far to much control over your life choices. And expecting them to care way more than they actually do.

  10. Oh definitely, me and my family have it. And me and bros are in our 20’s and we still keep it. Mainly cuz its useful

  11. “No jugdement”- Aka I don't want to face the consequences of my actions so feel bad for me. You grieve by telling your husband so he can leave and you get the help you clearly need.
