1. I would do something like this. Agree to the paternity test on one condition. That he take a polygraph test to prove he’s not cheating first. This does two things.

   One, partners who accuse the other of cheating for no reason often do so because they are cheating and figure their partner must be cheating too. It kind of absolves their conscience.

   Two, if he’s not cheating, it puts him in the same position as you, being accused of cheating and having to prove his innocence. He can’t very well complain about it without looking like a total hypocrite.

   Hopefully, he will understand what he’s really asking of you and drop his demands. If not, definitely make sure he takes the polygraph test and that you are there to see the results

2. A therapist might actually help, but not for the reason your BF thinks. You need confidence that you have a right to draw this reasonable boundary, and support in handling a bf who won't respect it.
