1. You’ve missed some truly “wtf did I get myself into” moments that the first few months bring. A lot of parents won’t ever say that, but it’s true. The absolute shock of going from independent adult to newborn parent is staggering to the nth degree. Simply going to the grocery store is more complicated, or cooking at home (the baby is crying? Then someone must attend to him… you’re alone? Get creative, that kinda thing).

   Wanting to be a good parent is 75% of the battle. Your caution of not wanting to overwhelm your girlfriend is good, she can split at any time with no legal recompense. Then it’s all you. If she’s even sorta entertaining this, then she must he committed. You’ll both be in situations where it’s a fork in the road of decisions and you’ll start to see how people can become negligent or abusive parents, it’s much easier to be a dirtbag parent. 2. Firstly, I’d just like to say I appreciate all perspectives, so thank you for your response.

   Even if I give him the benefit of the doubt with the group chat photo thing, what I can’t wrap my head around is that he would’ve been okay with it in the first place. He very well may have made lewd comments when it was uploaded, and I actually asked if we could scroll back to see what he had said when his friend first made it the profile picture. He refused saying very private things he doesn’t want me to read are spoken about in the chat, but honestly, that made me even more uncomfortable and suspicious of his behaviour. We could easily scroll past everything until we got to when the photo was uploaded, but he refused to even do that.

   It’s not a humiliating photo by nature, it’s a nude of an attractive woman with her fully clothed friend. I do however think it could be argued that having a nude made as a group chat photo without explicit consent is humiliating.

3. Everyone jumps to conclusions, I almost lost a good person like this. Looking for shit that wasn't there.

   Doesnt look good but also could just be buying something he's ashamed of. Coke, weed, something hes getting for the business on the down low.
