I totally get why you would feel offended, but without really knowing the source of the breakup and the context, you cant really assume its because she wants to be with him currently, or something similar. My first assumption (based on just that, assumptions) would be that because of the ages that they dated, maybe she wanted to get married (or at least start the talk process) and maybe he said he wasnt ready. Maybe he told her he could never see himself getting married, and they broke up and now she hears this news? idk- maybe it's none of that but 4 years is a long time and thats a very tender age for dating…
