  1. I truly meant what I said about being a wonderful woman and I hope you succeed. Depression is a crippling disease and go onbeing there for him as long as you can but, and this is a big but, you have to take care of yourself. If you have to back away you can to keep yourself ok. Can you maybe save my user name and let me know if things work out? My depression started at 20 or so. Linda pushed me into in house therapy and then to a psychiatrist where I got prozac which was new at the time. I knew I needed drugs because both my parents were depressed. I went to 3 psychs and said how about drugs? First 2 said we'll talk then maybe so I moved on until the third, who was a terrible psych but I kept going because regular docs didn't prescribe pro at the time.It worked in the first 2 weeks. Took it for 6 mos and went off which was stupid and took it for a couple of years and haven't since. There are newer drugs and may work better for him. As long as your influence lasts encourage him to try new drugs and do some talking. It really sounds like the depression is talking for him, maybe pushing you away bet that he really has lost interest. No matter what you need to take care of yourself. As for Linda she died at 53 from breast cancer. She saved me and lost her own life. I still miss her.

  2. Is he the owner of the tag? Is he the only other person with access to the car?

I’m not saying it’s not him, it’s just wise to consider all the possibilities. Do either of you carshare in the car to work etc?

  3. Ahh, to be 18 again….just move on. You have different views on what is acceptable to keep from past experiences. She lied and hid the files. You have NRE, and it's affecting your logical thought processes .

  4. Other than the sentiment of having a wedding and legally binding yourself to a person, there aren't really any pros, lmao.

  5. I guess I understand both of you. If I lived abroad, I would still want my children to have some connection to my former home country.

In the same time I would not want foreign names for my children while I live where I live.

It is a selfish approach which does not mean it is wrong. However of the two, I can see myself giving up on names if I lived abroad (in case of disagreement). It was me moving there after all.

  6. Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I've had the religious thing from coworkers too. I'm an atheist, among other things that don't make me compatible with religion, but I had several colleagues at an old job believe I was hyper Christian conservative.

I realized the reason for that was my standards of professionalism. I dressed conservatively for work and didn't like to talk much about my personal life. I didn't really tell coworkers if I was dating or going out or talk about my hobbies, because I like to keep my home and work lives separate. I even had coworkers who thought I didn't drink when I was actually an alcoholic, just because I didn't talk about drinking.

So your husband may be in a similar boat where he just doesn't talk about his personal life at work. Because people are nosy, they tend to fill in the gaps in those situations and “really religious” is a go to when someone is quiet and dresses well.
