Based on ops comments and posts there was a very negligible amount of cream left. It us weird to go back for some moisturizer, lotion, sunscreen, hell toothpaste etc. you can rationalize it all you want. Still a little weird.

What type of waiting are you talking about? I am coming from an oppressive country with high religious values and most couples “wait” by not having non-vaginal sex but doing all other types of sex including extensive anal sex. As long as virginity is not lost, you can say you have waited.
In any case, I am not in favor of waiting. Maybe 2 months, up to 6 months, I may choose to wait but waiting is painful for the woman, too as you know we have sexual urges, as well. If for that long time, you are not feeling a sexual urge towards your SO, it means you may be asexual.
