Yes, you are emotionally blackmailing her by tying your non-communication to the idea that she wouldn't let you live with her. If you know you're somewhat abusive to your family, you should also know that idea wouldn't turn out very well anyway.
Stopping communication while you're working on yourself isn't unheard of or wrong in itself. But you're also going about it the wrong way. That plan should include letting your family know whats happening, why its happening and the occasional check-in from your side to let them know you're okay. You also need to have a plan for how to get to a better place mentally.

I get that this is a weird situation and complicated but unless she is wearing overalls and has her hair in piggy tails – the solution IS to become a stronger person yourself. I do think that if there is a community around you that routinely gathers for events, she could arrange to meet with some of the key organizing members and explain to them what’s going on. Share that it’s caused a huge burden on your family to have this judgement. That even though the community means well they are in the wrong. That’ll spread like wildfire and you’ll likely be in a less hostile place.
