You should have called the cops and pressed charges when he got physical. And then you should have stopped cooking for him or doing any chores that benefit only him. Beyond that, there’s nothing you can do as long as your mom enables his behavior. He shouldn’t be living there but she lets him for whatever reason. Now you moved in trying to do the right thing but he’s going to get in the way of that. Honestly, as long as your mom lets him live there, she should be on her own to deal with him. I wouldn’t stay. Tell her she needs to kick him out or you’re going home. I know it’s hard but you’re going to come home and find your animals dead or he’s going to start escalating the violence against you. All while your mom continues to enable his behavior. This is on her for her poor choices and parenting.
