Even while I was working full time and he was still doing school full time, we made time to do things often.
OP is getting burnt out and shutting down, they want to do nothing but what they have to and chill out when they’re not. That’s fine, and it’s normal, but if you can’t do that and juggle a relationship, it’s time to rethink the relationship. It’s not really fair for OP’s girlfriend.
You may be paranoid at times but don't use that as a reason to not covertly investigate this situation with your wife and her ex. There's too much to overlook. She's likely never going to admit it. You have to get proof. If you find nothing, I'd be surprised.
