  1. u/montmike, it looks like you're trying to post a throwaway submission. Your account is too young and/or your comment karma is too low.

The right way to do it is to create a brand new Reddit account that begins with ThrowRA.

Please create a new account that starts with ThrowRA in the username and try again. Please note that we will not make exceptions to this rule.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

  2. You need a lawyer, and to relinquish your parental rights. You'll probably have to pay child support.

He clearly had an idealistic idea of being a stellar single parent, and when that blew up, had a new idealistic idea of you wanting to step up.

  3. I understand where you are coming from, but both my boyfriend and I disagree that I was snooping – it's not as if I'd been deliberately rifling through his bookshelf, it was literally in my line of sight so picked it up out of curiosity. Besides, it's not as if we forbid each other from looking at each other's stuff, within reason…

I did not “force” him to destory it. It was his suggestion that we go on a walk and throw it in the first bin we came to.

You also seem to be missing the main point of the post. Even if it was snooping, does that really excuse what was written?

  4. I know they're both your friends but none of that is any of your concern. They're over and they've moved on. Focus on what you have going on instead of judging her. If it's that hard for you to not judge her then maybe you need to distance yourself.

  5. A phobia is much more than a fear or dislike. There's a reason only medical professionals can practice medicine, same with mental illness. It's dangerous to tell people they have conditions with no experience, insight, or knowledge of the person. Even an actual professional wouldn't be able to diagnose over Reddit, and there's a reason it's horribly unethical
