1. OP i was in a relationship with someone like this… i grew up with a dad like this…

   I'm just being honest. If she gets help and actually changes great but if she doesn't and stays this way you are signing up for misery.. i had zero fucking self esteem getting out of tht relationship the way my mom had zero love for herself getting out of that marriage.

3. I see what you’re saying. I want him to find friends, but I don’t think it should be with someone who’s been interested in him and that he went on dates with. This is my first official relationship, so I’m not experienced with these situations.

4. I agree. Because he has verbally and over text recognized the behavior is unhealthy and unfair. And if he recognized that, why continue.
