Something that's really helped my husband in this area is a posted or white board list. It's not a “me telling him what to do list” it's a “we both need to be aware list.” It helps men a lot, especially the ones that say “just tell me what you need me to do.” I get it, you want him to take initiative and just do it because how can he not see what I see. But I would rather be happy with what works than try to change his ADD ass. Now if you talk to your bf about this issue, initiate the list, and he still does none of the hidden women's work…. I would say he is showing you what the rest of your life would be and you have reached an impasse in your relationship.
