No, it’s not in your head. He has been cheating on you (and lying about it and blaming YOU when confronted) and will likely do it again if given the chance. Not to absolve him of responsibility, but it also sounds like he may have a sex addiction? Honestly, it doesn’t matter. You were at the brink before because of how a man treated you and it sounds like he has little sympathy for that. I know the two of you have some shared assets, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting out while you still can. Find someone who won’t do this to you; I promise those guys are out there. Don’t forgive a cheater unless they are actively working on the character flaw they possess that allowed them to cheat.
