While I would expect him to be disappointed, I think his behavior was over the top. Does he always have a short fuse or was this a rare occasion? I ask because if you are walking on egg shells much of the time, and stressed about not making mistakes over how he reacts, you have far bigger problems than this sandwich incident and is likely in an abusive marriage.
