Yeah this is basically an emotional affair. Beyond any confessions of “feelings” or not, the fact that he's sharing details of his day to day life with her over you is how it starts and one of the big red flags of how it develops – he's putting her in front of you in that way, when you're supposed to be partners seeing each other through your daily struggles and ups and downs. You can have other friends when married but IMHO your spouse should be your “best friend” and it really feels like he's putting her before you in every way.
