She is absolutely irresponsible for putting the cats in danger but it seems like a losing battle. Moving the cat food away from the dresser seems like a logical answer.
I don’t understand ppl like this. So you had no time for intimacy bc of kids and jobs. And your solution was to spend the small amount of time you have with another woman and making her happy? Why not focus on fixing your own relationship with your wife? Why not go on dates with her? Why not make her happy?

Nowadays cheaters use this open relationship thing to cheat without having to feel guilty. But they are so focused on themself that they don’t stop and think about whatever they can really share their partner too.
Talk to your landlords. Tell them he is giving you major creeper vibes based on what he is doing. Ask them if any previous tenants have complained about him. Also tell them that if there are issues about trash cans or similar that you will handle them. Phrase it like you don't want to put them out. Ask if you can install a security system because you're not feeling safe.

I didn’t accept his apology because he continues to do shady stuff and I’m just finding out now about past stuff he did in our relationship that I’ve told him I’m not comfortable with, but he continue to do so. the problem is he didn’t do any of this now or in recent times this was years ago, but regardless, I’m still finding out about it now hence why I’m not accepting his apology because it’s not something that you just say “oh I’m sorry” and get over.
