I agree that his behavior was incredibly suspicious, but now so is yours. It’s pretty clear that there’s very little trust or communication in either direction in this relationship, so yeah I’d agree it’s probably over.
I can see that and if this is his reasoning, of course I’d support it. We’ve both been very independent since we met, I think it just caught me by surprise since he never thought of us as unequal (not sure if that’s the right word).
