I don’t want to give out too much detail. The kid is younger, but fairly knowledgeable (when asked where I would sleep before, they said in bed with mom). The other parent is around, but mostly just for holidays. They take the kid maybe 2 nights a month on average. I am not sure of such an agreement, but I’ve never heard of something like that before. There was one instance where it was particularly late and my girlfriend offered for me to spend the night on the couch… so it seems to just being in the bed is the issue for her?

Sometimes I’ll see him more than once per week. But if i do, its usually because i ask. Last week he actually wanted to hang 3 days in a row and i was joking with him about how unusual it was for him to want to see me that often. I guess I don’t necessarily even need to hang out with him that much, but it would just be nice if he wanted to… even like a quick stop to say hi
ESH. it’s your and your wife’s job to make sure you talk through things thoroughly before starting an open relationship, and you clearly failed to do that. you need to go over all possible issues that could come from it and how to handle it, pregnancy should be a major one. no birth control is 100% effective, there should’ve always been a plan in case she got pregnant. unfortunately, there’s nothing left to do now but end things since you didn’t want kids, you’re simply incompatible now.
This sounds like a good place to start. I'm not normally one for ultimatums, but this would be one situation I would absolutely give one – it's me or the clown!
