I’m not sure. I have an iPhone. One friend has a Samsung and texts never show delivered. My husband blocked me on his iPhone and my text didn’t show delivered. He unblocked me and on my end still doesn’t show delivered. An online acquaintance I shared my number with got mad (over politics and who I was voting for) and blocked me. On my end the last message didn’t show delivered but it did after she unblocked me. I have no idea what type of phone she has just that the government pays for it. So??
That definitely could be the case! I personally wouldn’t accept an invitation on a date from someone I met by providing care to them or their family member, no matter the context of the setting in which I was working, but I don’t think it would be inherently wrong for any nurse to accept. It’s a personal decision.

Yeah, the lying is what would bother me the most. Is this the only thing he’s lied about to you, and is this whole situation way out of character for him? If yes to both, I’d just ask him, “Hey, what happened to the birthday gift and card you mentioned?” If there’s a reasonable explanation, cool. If he gets really defensive or mean, dump him.

She didn't give that bit of truth for no reason, mate. Someone has found out, or the AP is pressuring her in some way. This is absolutely her minimising the affair, trickle-truthing you, and trying to get ahead of the facts.

And can you imagine what would have happened if I refused to use the money on the house we wanted for our future even though I had it? That probably would have been the end of my relationship anyway.
I said in the post that I wouldn’t perpetually expect him to pay more, it’s literally in the last line about my current earning situation.
What’s changed is that neither of us expected to have as big of an earning gap as we do now. It would be more difficult for him to pay more or pay me back if he was still on his old salary… i wouldn’t have wanted him to use a large part of his disposable income on paying me back as well as his share of the bills. The salary he has now is far above national market rate for his profession, so couldn’t have been expected.
I appreciate your input, but I had already made my mind up on not being shafted both ends, just wanted advice on what people thought was the fairer side.
My dad did this with his dad as a kid. His dad told co workers & they were saying should be punished. He said no, he was right & changed.
