I acknowledged what I needed to work on, when I asked her about her side she refused and said everything that she does is because I'm to blame, slapping swearing etc. I got fed up with her repeating this and I just backed off until she was ready to acknowledge this.

It’s not easy and it may be really difficult for some people, but it takes effort and willingness to make changes to alter your behavior to be a good partner. OP deserves someone who will actively try to improve herself and seek help

Just think if you had a full term pregnancy and were recovering from childbirth and instead of helping you with the baby he decides to leave it all to you and goes off to watch porn.
