Why?
I get leaving your marriage, but the way you did it probably wasn't the best way to do it. You cheated. You were having an affair with a man you'd never met, who knew you were married, and still wanted a relationship with you. That should've been a red flag right there, and you were wrong for cheating on your husband. You could've gotten a divorce first and then gotten to know the other guy.
Do you sleep with him? If so, you’re really setting yourselves up for a bad fucking time it something goes wrong. Think it through
Leave. You're right, if he says he doesn't know by six years, he does know and the answer is no, but he wants to keep the benefits of your current relationship, so he deflects and lies. If he was honest, and told you he didn't want it but wanted to keep dating, that at least gives you a chance to make an informed decision. But if he lies and keep moving goal posts, he's purposefully tricking you into having a dead end relationship with him.
There are things I haven't shared, I'm figuring some things out but know what to do, don't worry
If he thinks that’s abuse, he’s incredibly delusional. And self-centred. Don’t cater to this.
Even if she did that really is her perogative isn't it? This is not an understandable reaction to a slight.
“What do I say when I see my son?”. How about: “I'm so sorry your friend's D was more important/aluring than celebrating my own son's birthday. I'm sorry getting wet, loud and bothered with someone literally young enough to be my son was a better/bigger highlight of my day than my actual 20 year old son's sport match”? ? Can't believe I had to write this by the way.
