Instead, focus on what you have. You're getting married and you'll be starting a family. Both are pretty amazing. I know you didn't want kids quite yet, but you can't change where you are now.
And you can still have a bachelorette style parry later. Talk to your fiancé and tell him you want something like that after the kid comes and you're up for going out. It's ok to still do that even after having a kid. And you can still travel. Sure, it may not be what you had planned, but you'll get to share those experiences with your child. You'll get to see the awe in their face and their eyes light up. It will be different, but it will still be wonderful.
Yeah, there are cases where you get exempt from fasting. But I never heard of the no contact with your bf rule. Just, fasting, no sex, no lying, no fighting, be a good person, etc. You know her the best, so you'll have to judge, but imo it sounds suspicious.
Trust your gut! He might be the best person you've ever met (I doubt it!) but he is not a good person. He is disrespecting you, treating you as stupid (no rational person could believe his excuse), and deceiving you.
