1. Yeah because he thought it wouldnt matter to him to miss his friends wedding. But obviously after sometime of thinking, he probably realized that attending this good friend’s wedding is really important to him. He should be able to communicate this to his girlfriend that for sure. But it’s not an asshole move that he realized he prefers his good friends wedding. A good non controlling psycho girlfriend would not get explosive about this. Disappointed? Sure. But calling him names like being asshole for realizing this wedding is important: bitch pls.
