“Getting anorexia” makes it sound like a choice, it’s not, I promise you she is not doing this to spite you. That being said, it’s completely understandable if you wouldn’t want to stay in this relationship. As a recovering anorexic myself, I know all too well how these struggles take a toll on relationships, especially romantic relationships. Honestly if you ended things, she’ll probably be better off in the long run. Im not saying someone has to be single to achieve recovery, but I know she has a lot of healing and work to do on herself before she can contribute to a healthy relationship. She is struggling and needs help but that’s something she needs to seek out on her own. In my sick days, I can’t tell you how many friends I’ve screamed at for trying to make me eat or trying to “help” (despite their good intentions). I’m sorry for the both of you.
