You dodged a bullet. It's ok to not want to be in a relatuonship with someone that's bisexual, that's down to personal preferences and boundaries.
The way he worded it though, it seems like he hated queer people. Ofc it could be that it was only because he was shocked or flustered, but the fact that he broke up with you on the spot makes me think he is homophobic.
Either way, please don't pretend to be someone you're not. You deserve to be with someone that accepts who you are.
All that tells you is those dogs weren't rescues or strays before. Family owned doesn't mean they get along with everyone. Dogs can still have preferences and fears, some are scared of other dogs, or cats, or people.
My dog has never lived with a cat, he will bark at cats and try to chase them. If he would bite a cat he would still register as 'family owned with no history of aggression and abuse'. That doesn't make him even close to a dog who has lived with a cat for 5 years with no issues.
This HAS GOT TO BE A TROLL POST
Yeeeeesh. Idk what advice you’re looking for , because the biggest piece I have is if your future wife isn’t behind you on making sure this doesn’t happen at your wedding under any circumstances then you have much bigger problems than an AH BIL.
I’ve been married for almost 20 years to someone who [I believe] has undiagnosed ADHD. He’s not as bad as your girlfriend (he will clean sometimes), but his default is messy, and I’ve worked around him and cleaned up after him until the ADHD thing hit me a few weeks ago. He’s going to get evaluated by a psychologist as soon as he can get in. I hope with meds and therapy he’ll be more focused, motivated, and organized.
