3. I can and I have. But this is also why I refuse to do my own individual therapy when anyone else is in earshot. I only do my sessions in an office or when no one is home.

   Second, still, even in the time it would take her to get up & leave, because of the fact he was literally right outside the room talking, she would still hear parts of what he said about her.

   I'm not disagreeing with this. The problem people are pointing out is her deciding to stick around and listen instead of removing herself so she would no longer have the opportunity to overhear him.

   Third, if he didn’t want her listening to his therapy session, he shouldn’t have done right literally right outside the bedroom where she was sleeping.

   Yeah, that's true too. Presumably he trusted that she would do any of the number of methods I've detailed though, instead of listening in when she woke up. Maybe there was a scheduling issue and it was either this setup or miss the appointment. And in that case, as OP has already admitted, she still shouldn't have eavesdropped on a private conversation.

   You're coming up with some weird excuses when all she had to do after however many seconds it took for her to wake up and realize what she was hearing was give him some privacy.
