Oh and to add: I feel like some physical attraction is necessary to feel really in love with someone. I’ve been through it myself and I couldn’t get over not being physically attracted to the person in question. I actually tried getting over it, but head and heart just couldn’t line up on that one. So… that was that. No need to judge it.
…no… it means people often get into relationships / serious relationships around the same times as other people in their friend groups. Meaning there are entire friend groups unaffected and mostly single. You were just with a group in a relationship stage.

To clarify the libido situation, not sex is the only expression of love, there are others, but sex is one of it for me (i am aware some people have sex for the sake of enjoyment not love, but not for me, my brain somehow tie sex and love tgt). As for drive, its been a while since she have lower drive, during our first few months, she was very… direct so to say.
That being said yea, with the lacking of physical intimacy, I do feel unloved from it.

You and I have a lot in common. If my boyfriend suggested this to me I wouldn't be able to help but laugh in his face.
Don't dim your light so that he can feel better about himself. If he wants to feel better about himself, HE needs to do the work to improve. Not bring YOU down so he looks “better” in comparison.
