1. Omg, don’t marry this idiot. Lots of women join the military (my mom for example- and I bet she outranks him!) and are successful. Women get sexually harassed whatever the job they have. I was in almost every job I’ve had. Your bf wasn’t there to protect me, lol.

4. So even if he stops, what if your kids, on their own, pick it up from a friend or from school? Or just suddenly start doing it? What would your approach be?

   We noticed my 6yo was doing a LOT of biting, like cuticles were RAW, when she first started school last year, two months into the school year. She knew no one there, switched to our zoned school this year, & was bullied a bit up until this past Xmas. She is doing well now, but it was a like a way she dealt with hard situations, at the time.

   Her sister (8) keeps long nails, and I try to paint them as often, together, as I can, so she less inclined to nip at them. She also sees sister isn’t doing it, but I’m not degrading her for it when she does from time to time. Her cuticles are fine now. My husband and I do it during anxious times. There’s days where his are looong, and goes out to trim them. then there’s days where in like, “ooh, mine are long” and I paint them and try my best.

   This may be a nervous thing for him, have either of you considered a deeper dive into why he could be biting as much as he is?
