If you wanted her to be the one to initiate communication, you could have point-blank told her “Hey, I have a busy week ahead and I might forget to text you, but feel free to text me any time!” Instead you just… waited to see if she did? I totally understand that you asked him to go to the dr and get scans due to his personality flip. Been there.
