There's nothing unfair. It's close to mind that if you have feelings towards someone and are interested in pursuing something with them that you wouldn't go around fucking others. OP can't let this go because in his mind at the time he was thinking about her romantically, she was sleeping around and therefore wasn't really thinking romantically about him. That , of course, isn't always the case but it's completely understandable to be hurt and it is a very valid reason to end a relationship of you think your partner doesn't have strong feelings for you.
