   Keep at it with calling the authorities. Make sure they know he's threatening suicide, and if he threatens anyone else (including you), make sure the authorities know that too. It might not be a bad idea to check into a hotel for a couple of days if you can afford it, or stay with a friend that none of them knows if there's one available (but it needs to be someone they don't know, to reduce the risk that he'll come looking for you)

   If you're staying with someone, give them your phone, and let them answer the phone for you. That way, if he or his family calls, your friend can just not give you the phone.
