I have had that discussion. That’s what prompted me to write this post. What I pretty much said was I can’t deal with not seeing this much and I can’t deal with her not opening my messages for so many hours at a time (like 12-20 hours). Not having sex because there's no committed relationship is the most reasonable and valid boundary ever.
Sex can be risky. She could get pregnant again or spread STIs (even without symptoms after sleeping with just one other partner). There's also the emotional attachment it could form when you know it isn't going to end in a relationship. There are many good and understandable reasons not to want to have sex without commitment. You're living together right now for your child, not anything else. You don't owe her your body.
