2. Nope. You clearly said that you're getting that for yourself and explained why it's important to you. She thinks that her whim emotions, her at the moment emotions are more important. Your emotions around this are built around your whole life, around your upbringing and your growth.

   She isn't respecting you or how you feel about this. Her thinking and her emotions about this are petty. Gifts are supposed to be for a receiver, not for the person that is giving it. Imagine giving a person in need something that they absolutely don't need just to get that dopamine shot through your body and feel good about yourself. And then getting upset when they ask you for something they actually need.

3. I kind of find the rest of the responsed very radical, like he is a misogynist sick disgusting old man.

   She described two incidents. The photo, which is bad, and the workplace issue that shows lack of empathy (as she was telling him something that hurt her and his immediate response was to laugh). Note that we do not know how she was emotionally when telling the workplace issue.

   Still… The responses here are almost to put the guy in jail.

   On the other hand, him paying for a sugar baby and her being paid (and not even recognizing that by saying she was just 'spoiled') doesn't speak well of either one.

   Answering your question: no, you don't need to teach anybody anything. However, in good couples both learn from each other.
