Why would you end friendships for a relationship you’re only a couple of months into?
People find people attractive and have crushes on them. Not only is that entirely normal when you’re young and single it’s also entirely normal when you age and are in committed relationships.
What matters is how you act and you and the guys seem to be totally fine and normal and not at all suspect.
I would be more concerned that my girlfriend is so seemingly willing to throw long term friendships out the window for a so far short term relationship. If she’s willing to do that what would she do to a short term boyfriend at the slightest inconvenience.
This is all well and good in an ideal world. But we live in a world where people can be so poor they have to marry and cohabitate or be homeless.
He didn’t save money because he wanted to live in the moment? I want to say that’s pretty irresponsible but on the other hand he HAS saved $150k by 30. I guess the real question is ‘Is he over that phase and ready to be serious about saving money?’
Maybe you need to have an adult conversation about money – how much you would spend on a home, where the money would come from and how you would be paying that back.
