Hm yeah maybe his story would be different? Would love to hear if he would say anything to me. But I tried my best to write just about the facts. I didn't end the relationship. I just asked him to leave so I could have some space. I just wanted him to sit down and talk about how he felt but instead he stormed off maybe I should have been more tactful with how I worded things. And yes I did say I'll be fine either way I just wanted him to make the decision to give it another shot not just for me but for himself too. Because I know that he has a history of people pleasing. Just because an older man preys on younger men so he can control them in relationships doesn't mean he's interested in children. You were an adult when you met this guy and for all the obvious dysfunction in your relationship nothing you describe here really seals the deal on 33m being in any way a hebephile. To give advice when I have applicable experience
Yeah… it's possible she's cheating but with no other evidence I would not end a relationship based on one person's word, especially if they weren't like a years long trusted friend
If you want to say anything, I’d say: “I’ve been thinking about what you said, and it really bothers me. While I don’t love having my picture taken, I’d have done it for you happily. You told me a while ago I’d be a bridesmaid, and I’ve always looked forward to it. I’m upset that you changed your mind. I’m hurt you changed your mind without talking to me about it. I’m hurt you didn’t even let me know and I had to find out on social media. I thought our friendship was better than that.”
This might not change anything, it’s just a way to be assertive instead of suffering silently.
